Since joining Everything Tech in March, Mollie Jacques has made an immediate impact, bringing energy, expertise, and a fresh perspective to both the team and our clients.
We sat down with Mollie to hear what excites her about the fast-moving world of tech, her love for Pilates, and why Microsoft Copilot has become her ultimate productivity partner.
I joined Everything Tech in March after working with large and enterprise clients at my previous company. Honestly, coming here has felt a bit like coming home. I love being closer to my customers – it’s refreshing to have those tight-knit relationships again, both with clients and the team. It’s also incredibly rewarding to feel like the work I do has a real, visible impact.
As a Senior Account Manager, I’m the go-to person for a small number of our clients. I make sure they’re happy with their engagement with Everything Tech and that everything’s running smoothly. That means regular catch-ups, sorting out any issues, and making sure our solutions support their short and long-term IT and business strategies.
My main focus is building strong relationships with our clients discussing cloud transformation, through to their cybersecurity approach and backups. I’m always looking for ways to add more value for our clients – whether that’s identifying new services to help them scale, enhancing the experience for their staff and customers, improving their security posture, or delivering a clear return on investment.
I see myself as a trusted partner to our clients, someone who understands both the tech and the business side. Bringing it all together in a way that works for the client.
There’s really no such thing as a ‘typical day’ in Account Management – and that’s one of the things I love most about it.
One day, I might be working with our Service Delivery Team on a major incident that’s impacting a client’s ability to serve their customers. The next, I could be on-site planning an IT roadmap and investment strategy for the coming year ahead.
Then I also attend industry events to keep up with the latest tech trends and tools, which in turn keeps our clients up to date – and occasionally, all of that happens in a single day!
My job definitely keeps me on my toes and that variety is what keeps it exciting.
I used to swear by creating a priority grid at the end of each workday – I had stacks of notepads filled full of them! It was my go-to method for staying organised and there was nothing more satisfying than seeing a grid of completed tasks.
These days though, I rely heavily on the Microsoft suite. Microsoft To Do has become my digital priority grid, and over the past year Copilot has completely transformed how I work.
It keeps my inbox in check, helps with prep work and even catches those sneaky errors like formula errors or missing attachments. It’s become an essential part of my daily routine. I’ve made it my mission to encourage more people to make use of it, both colleagues and clients included!
Honestly, it sounds cliché but every single person I have encountered at Everything Tech is positive, supportive and eager to help. The sales team is incredibly well gelled and truly empower each other’s success.
Most of my time outside of work is spent answering the demands of my three children – they definitely keep me on my toes! When I do get a moment to myself, I’m in the kitchen. Cooking is a real passion of mine. I love exploring different cuisines, experimenting with new recipes, and there’s nothing quite like the satisfaction of preparing a meal for loved ones and seeing them enjoy it.
I’ve also recently taken up Pilates, which has quickly become a vital part of my routine. I practice twice a week and have found it to be a brilliant way to build strength and stay in tune with my body. I’ve always wanted to be the healthiest version of myself, but traditional gyms never really clicked for me – Pilates is the perfect fit, it has been a game changer.
