Who we are

This Notice is issued on behalf of the Everything Tech Group of companies. When we refer to “Everything Tech”, “we”, “us”, or “our”, we mean the relevant company within the Everything Tech Group that is responsible for processing your data. 

Everything Tech is the Data Controller for this website. This means we determine how and why your personal data is processed. If you have entered into a contract with us, or with one of the companies listed below, we are also the Data Controller for that relationship. 

In some cases, we may act as a Data Processor on behalf of our customers, with the customer acting as the Data Controller. This typically applies when we process data solely under their instructions.

Third-party data sources: Occasionally, we may purchase GDPR-compliant marketing lists related to our industry. This data is used for targeted campaigns, and we ensure that all recipients are given the opportunity to opt out of further communication. 

Data cleansing and retention: We regularly cleanse our marketing data. For example: 

Records that have shown no engagement for over two years are SET AS NON-MARKETING CONTACT 

You can opt out of receiving marketing communications from us at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in any email or contacting us directly.

However, it may also be transferred to and processed inside and outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). Data will only be transferred outside of the EEA where this is an adequacy agreement. Where this is not the case, then the transfer will only be made if there are appropriate safeguards in place. 

How long will we keep your personal data 

We will not retain your personal data for longer than necessary. How long we keep it depends on the type of data and the reason it was collected. 

Personal data is retained and deleted in accordance with our Data Retention and Deletion Policy. 

In some cases, we may retain data beyond the standard retention period to allow for a review process prior to deletion, or because it exists in system backups.
